Nope. Just an observation followed by speculation. I'm usually right about these things, and I'm confident this is no exception.

As long as Harris gets quality playing time early in season I'm ok with 2 QB system. It worked for Charlie Mac many, many years successfully. About the only other team that can possibly pull this off is Ohio State. Would be a great matchup w both teams using muti-QB system for national championship. Never understood why this trend stopped. LSU has a good thing going in 2015.... Let's keep it that way. Peace.

The only point of this is if you have 2 guys who excel at the 2 basic aspects of the position: pocket passing and mobility. Jennings isn't super strong in either, so we either ride him out and don't let him do anything risky (90% runs), or we commit to Harris and let him grow up.

Take grammar out of the equation and this still leaves me feeling confused.

I'm starting to get in on the thoughts that if Harris is so much better, why isn't he easily passing up Jennings? There should be a marked difference between the two when they are on the field, and I'm not seeing any separation by Harris.

I think any reasonable person sees the situation as you described. It's not good enough for someone with his tools to be a little better, some of the time. He should be markedly better all of the time.

He's saying that the only reason NOW that Les won't start Harris is his loyalty to AJ, the upperclassman.

Poorly written, but let's not pretend.

Harris has not outperformed Jennings and y'all can believe this or not but Harris has not shown the maturity and leadership ability that Jennings has up to this point. Harris does not have the respect of the players that Jennings has and that is a big deal. Harris needs to grow the f--k up and earn the respect of his team mates. Going into a huddle and not knowing the plays doesn't earn you respect as a team leader. This was what I was told by a parent of a current starter on offense for LSU.

Like it or not the Harris supporters on this board or anywhere else are kidding themselves. Harris simply did not apply himself and learn the damn playbook as he should have and it showed in game situations (Auburn) and in PRACTICE.

This season both Jennings and Harris are improving but to think Harris is better is simply not true. He may get there but he isn't there yet. I think we are looking at two QBs this year and if one doesn't emerge as the clear leader the Felipe Franks may put them both on the bench.

Don't sweat it. A Harris/AJ thread is the easiest way to get traffic moving. Easy button.

good lord, man, it's his OPINION. Because this is, you know, a MESSAGE BOARD where people give their thoughts and opinions.

If you limit the posts on this board to factual statements directly obtained from coaches and players, it'd be dead.

Harris is playing QB, not running for president of the United States. You play the best player, period. That isn't Jennings. I am convinced that some of you morons would have started Jennings over Jameis Winston because he's an outstanding leader.
