Davis is 22 years old. To put that in perspective, he is less than a month older than Frank Kaminsky, your Naismith POY, and just put up more points, rebounds, blocks, and steals in the NBA per 36 minutes than Kaminsky did in college this year per 40 minutes. Davis just finished a regular season with the 11th highest player efficiency rating all time, and the highest by anyone not named Michael Jordan, LeBron James, or Wilt Chamberlain.

Davis will turn 30 in the 2022-2023 season, so excluding that season, he's got 7 seasons left before turning 30. If the over/under on league MVPs for Davis was set at 1.5 during that stretch, what side would you take?

Alternatively, would you say it is more likely that Davis wins multiple MVPs or no MVPs in the next 7 seasons?

Too bad it'll be after a sign and trade on another team.

Under. If he would win 2 regular season MVP's, he'd be considered of the best big men ever. I think he's good but not that good.

The MVP is a weird award. Kobe and Shaq combined for two. It's very possible that Davis could finish as an all-time great without winning two MVPs.

Isn't this the same question?

Tough to decide, i'll say under, but could go either way.

Why not? There's really only been 2-3 big men in the modern era who was ever this dominant at this age.

I say he gets 2. Most players hit their prime in that 27-28 range, and he's still developing. The hype around him already is insane, and that's only getting bigger. The Pels will be in the national spotlight quite a bit next season, which means more people will see how good he is on regular basis. Only thing stopping him from getting MVPs is his health, he gets really random injuries on freak accidents.

If healthy, I think he wins 2-4.
