why the frick would anybody have the nerve to question GoodOleLess and his playcalling, much less his choice of personnel. He will show all you assholes who are questioning his ability soon, actually by the first game. Just look for the clipboard.

I'll say this, despite the gaudy passing yards and average yards per catch with a few exceptions the Wrs and TEs were wide open for the White team. In fact unless I missed a play or two, LSUs CBs White, Paris, and Tolliver, didn't allow a completed pass in the game and were only thrown at 4 times, 0-4 with an interception. Gage and the walk on players gave up the yards. Now we know White is very good and EP and KT are highly touted but with limited experience. All three QBs had some good throws with BH leading the way. I'm not real excited about the passing game at this point until I see the Tigers play State and Auburn. Yes they looked better than last year in the Spring game.

I feel comfortable with either QB this season honestly. Jennings footwork looked outstanding. Harris just looks like a natural out there.
I'm hoping Harris takes over early though. We have really really good WRs and being able to use them will open up those lanes for Fournette.

Jefferson completed 65% of his passes in the NCG. The problem was not inaccuracy. Perhaps Miles should have tried Lee, but it wasn't irrational to keep trying Jefferson. That strategy worked in the GOTC, against Arkansas, and in the SECCG.
Maybe you don't remember those games so great.
We did nothing offensively against Arkansas until Honey Badger decided he had enough of that crap and returned a punt for a TD. Defense won the game despite the putrid offense.
Same for the SECCG where we had 0 first downs in the first half, but ole Honey Badger bailed us out again.
I want Jennings to be better. I really do. But he looks no different today than he did 2 years ago, and it's not that good. He literally can't complete a short screen pass. That's my biggest pet peeve. He overthrows just about every deep pass.
Harris still doesn't look good, but i'd rather deal with him learning in the game and making mistakes than watching Jennings do nothing.
JLee might have been the pick 6 king, but he also had us scoring 30 points a game that year.
Harris might have some bonehead plays, get nervous and make bad decisions under pressure, but he will also make plays that Jennings could only dream about making. I'd rather take the bad with Harris knowing his good is really really good.

The 70 yard bomb to Dural down the East Sideline from Jennings. Many saw that as a great play, but ATVS and I saw it as a bad throw
you're analyzing this play incorrectly, IMO. Jennings was rolling to his left, had a linebacker (or safety) charging him, saw Dural wide open and chunked it deep. That is a very difficult throw across your body. Based on the fact that he was rolling left, the play probably wasn't even designed for a deep throw, Dural's was basically a clear-out route, but he was so open Jennings could make the play.
I played WR in high school (yes I know it's just high school.. Lol) but our coaches always told our QB to never try and lead a receiver too much when he's that far behind the defense in fear of overthrowing the WR and blowing what could've been a huge gain. Not at all saying that's what happened but maybe that was in his head. Or maybe he just couldn't get it far enough?? He definitely could've undert-threw it a little less! Lol
