What one of the females who got blocked should've done is walk towards a section with males blocking them and then hysterically start screaming rape the minute they touched her.

These protestors are indeed scum and the cops really should have shown up to escort students AROUND the protestors.
The problem here is that from the cops' perspective, a physical confrontation with the protestors is a lose-lose situation. If they show up and force them out then it gets misconstrued as government oppression and abuse. The fact that the protestors are playing the race card doesn't help matters, either.

This is a perfect example of why I think intelligence is such an arbitrary and in many cases unmeaningful term. Supposedly there are many "intelligent folks" at that particular college, but I can't help but question what TYPE of intelligence that is. I can't imagine a single one of those blocked individuals will ever understand police brutality as they want them to understand it. Also, how about instead of wasting other people's time and space, they address the actual problem itself. I am so damn tired of all these indirect charity acts, and social movements.
Everything has become:
You want to donate water? Here but this t-shirt....
You want this to change? Here, throw a water balloon at this guy, and then wear this color X amount of days.
Its like they're so concerned with the signals of the movement or charity, that everyone forgets why the movement or charity exists in the first place.
Ice Bucket challenge
The MS-150 is great, but how many people even know all that much about multiple sclerosis?
Cancer awareness has become an excuse for people to create pink fashion trends. Its like no one even cares about the cancer issues directly. They just want to wear pink.
Maybe its just me, but if there is something i dont like I want to go straight to that problem and try to solve it.
