Not sure if I'm correct but I saw he is getting 14 mill this year, since his role now is basically defense and rebounding, will he take a pay cut?

He gets my 2 middle fingers wherever he ends up. Massive liability who has done nothing this entire series except throw it. Another team wants to give him $$$? Let em have it.

He isn't worth more than 11 million. I wouldn't give him more than 10

I kinda want to keep the guy unless we can find a better alternative, but the better alternative will probably be too expensive for us.

That is his salary but his cap hit is much lower I think. Not sure how all that works, so I'll let one of the salary cap guys here explain that

And to the haters, I guess y'all didn't watch Asik keep us in the game in the 2nd half then watch the game slip away as soon as he came out

Do you remember that outstanding pass Curry gave Bogut? Asik would have fumbled it out of bounds. All he has to do is catch the damn ball.

He's only a cap hit of around 9 or 10 mil this year. Very middle of the pack.

Hopefully he takes a big cut so we can resign some of our guys with 1 year contracts and still go after a solid free agent

Do you remember all the 2nd chance opportunities gave us in the 2nd half and all the 2nd chance opportunities going the other way as soon as he came out of the game?

Lol the Asik haters, I will chalk it up to they either don't watch much basketball, or just don't understand his role on this team. He almost always makes an impact for us particularly in the fourth. It's funny though, it's not just here it's my friends that start paying more attention this time of year too.

I guess it's because he's goofy and will goof up a few turnovers because he can't dribble in traffic so he just forces a bad pass is what creates all the hate.

This team needs a guy like Asik, at a price like Asik to be competitive.

that's the difference between the teams. You would rater remember almost winning vs winning. He is weak and the entire league is aware of that. He is soft too. Later bruh

He took a damn elbow to the chin tonight because he is not afraid to step in the line of fire. NBA is full of guys who run away from contact down low for fear of being posterized and Asik is the opposite of that. He was relentless around the rim tonight.

The cap is going up significantly, so over the life of a 3-4 year deal, Asik should make between 9-10 million per season.

He had 6 offensive rebounds tonight and is one of the top offensive rebounders in the league.

If he was on the Warriors and was giving those shooters 2nd chance shots, people would be going gaga over him.

bogut is a better version of asik who makes 50% more than what asik does. they need to realize getting a 5 like bogut, with all of his injury worries and lack of offense, is $12M/year+ in the NBA today. these guys don't grow on trees
