These people call me several times a week telling me they are from the US gov and I have been selected to receive $7,000 - $12,000 yada yada, because I have had no criminal convictions in the past 18 or whatever months. I just have to activate a pay as you go card with $100 or more on it and they will transfer the money. I know 100% its scam. I'm just tired of them calling. I block every number they call from so my phone ignores it, so in retaliation they call me from an unknown number repeatedly. Can this be reported somehow or do I just deal with until they get tired of calling? Anyone else get a call from these sorry people?

Seems pretty legit. I don't see why you wouldn't take the free money

Why don't you start having fun with it.

I always get calls about the "extended warranty for your vehicle" scam. I like to have fun with them and keep them on the line for as long as possible.

I get this too (don't do it) but it seems legit.

I was at first I would just ask random questions about US History and college football until they hung up or I would lay my phone next to my computer while some hardcore porn was playing obnoxiously loud. They are persistent I'll give that to them.

At first it does. Once they start getting aggressive when you ask them to send you something in the mail rather than giving them your credit card number, you pretty much know what the deal is.

Just start taking up all their time. Ask them 1000 questions until they hang up on you.
