kingbob's band, Raxx sports bar, Erwinville, LA (4.20.15)
review:
headed out straight after work to catch some of the festivities in the lot, but it was a surprisingly small turnout for erwinville on a monday night. met up with cheddie and we split a sativa to power us through the set. crowd was energetic...mostly kingbob's family, his fiancee and some of her friends. the pit only got out of hand once.
set was INSANE
set 1
i shot the sheriff--->red red wine*--->jammin' &
buffalo soldier^--->stir it up--->i shot the sheriff (reprise)#
encore (acoustic)
KRS 1##--->redemption song--->rivers of babylon**
* dyslexic
** ending only
^ inverted
# first time since 2013
## first time ever
& with friends
waited outside by the bus for some autographs and offer some smoke but they never came out. someone told us about the checkpoint heading back to BR, so we dabbed a touch of indi to chill out and sucked on some pennies before hittin the road. i don't like carrying more than a quatro on me so i broke my boy off a birthday nug and sent him on his way. happy birthday and see ya at the next show my man.
