0 (oh)

I've never heard anyone call it area code five zero four.
It depends on the phone number and how it flows. My house phone has zeros in the middle and I say zero. Oh sounds too weird.
Muh mammas phone number has zeros but I say oh for those.

if you're making a position report over the Amazon or Andes at about tree(pun)am, make yourself understood to someone who can only go by the script, otherwise, WGAF?

Depends on who I'm talking to and in what setting.
If it's on the phone with someone I don't know who needs my info, I say zero. If it's in response to my GF while we're sitting in the living room, I probably say "oh."
Or if I'm giving an Atlanta person my phone number, I say four oh four. If I'm telling someone from California my phone number, I say four zero four.

That is actually incorrect. It's pronounced "five hundred four." Saying the word "and" is my pet peeve.
The year is two thousand fifteen, NOT two thousand AND fifteen.

Saying 'oh' is trashy.
Who the hell cares what some random poster on the OT thinks is trashy?

How has this gone on for 3 pages?
Posted on 4/20/15 at 6:57 pm to Paul Allen
It honestly depends on the number. My wife and I each have a 0 in our phone number. Just released when I say mine I say "Zero" but when I say hers aloud I say "Oh"

Oh. People in south Florida look at me funny every time too. They also don't not understand "come see" either.
