I am not usually either, but I really like this one. It has a malty component that works really well. It starts out on the malty side even when very fresh, so freshness is a must.

Still my favorite black ipa, only exception being Blakkr, maybe. Ive made an effort to try a few. This one achieves a great balance, with the hops still being the star.

This is nice. Tastes fresh and easy to drink. Interesting hop profile - magnum, amarillo, centennial, cascade, chinook, citra. Strikes a balance between some citrus / piney hops and thicker slightly syrupy malts.
