Mass Effect - Nice!

I sure missed the party train on this one.
Finally decided to force myself to play this one Saturday night.
I did my normal RPG "get to know the game" then restart. I played for about 8 hours then started over.
I'm shocked the game is almost 8 years old because it looks pretty good. Especially the aliens. Hair is always a problem with toons and Aliens don't have hair so they actually look better than the humans.
Elevators suck. The inventory screen stinks. Selling and converting crap to omni-gel sucks.
Other than that, I love the game. Bought 1, 2 and 3 for 20 bucks, so that will keep me busy for a good bit of time.

My favorite gaming series of all time. 2 is probably my favorite game ever.

Been wanting to play this for a while. I'm waiting on the remaster trilogy they will probably do.

Not all of the DLC. I think I have the Mass Effect DLC. The 2nd and 3rd game DLC not included.
I have the second game with all DLC from a previous purchase that I never played.

I bought the trilogy for like 10, but never played it. It's on my list but trying to get through the soul series and god of war right now.

Elevators are cleverly disguised loading screens.
The inventory system got massively rehauled in 2/3 and is much simpler. I sometimes wish they wouldn't have simplified it as much, but I'll take it over the inventory shite in 1.

There was just too much stuff. Different weapon types. Different weapon levels. Different weapon modifiers. Different modifier levels. They pretty much got rid of the weapon modifiers all together and just baked some of that stuff into talents.
ME1 is a fantastic game, but it can be pretty clunky at times. ME2 and ME3 are much smoother gameplay experiences.
