Don't we all. Was talking about the fish, though.

Nice. Saw some guys trolling in the harbor today. Weather just isn't right for me to spend that much time to land one just yet.

Edit: Tide is up, I can cast from my deck.

I know, I'm ok with poking fun at me.

Is a nice fish, jumped on me several times. Sweet battle. Hammered my mag lip lure.

Thanks, I was anchored up. We also hit a school of sturgeon passing through. My buddy caught 5. You don't usually see them hit the lures. I had some sturgeon hits but didn't catch any. Can't keep them anyway in that area.

Biggest one....

Nice sturgeon.

Can't get over how green your grass is down there.

Wish they could be retained, that was a legal sized fish if it was open.

Nice fish!

I don't post much, but it looks like yall are near me. I live in Ridgefield and work in Longview and the boats outside my office window are increasing each day it seems.

Thanks! I am very close to you. Live in St. Helens and work in Longview as well.

That fish was caught in the multnomah channel aka the slough. The channel was packed with boats and the catching has increased a lot as the numbers have increased.

Sorta. I can cast, but doubt I would catch much

Did catch one last year out front but the seals and sea lions clean up pretty well out there.

May be moving back to Douglas this summer, not sure yet.

Right on. That'll eat.

I'm waiting for the weather to calm down over here. Just read in the paper this morning where 4 went down out of Bodega Bay.

My friend used to live on the Columbia river, Oregon side. He would always have a line out for springers and he caught pretty regularly. Fishing from the beach around here can be almost as successful as being in a boat because the fish are in 6-25 feet of water.

Little to no chance catching fall fish from the beach as they run real deep, like 45-60 feet of water.....eta, until they get into the smaller tributaries. But then it's combat fishing typically.

Yeah, they're in deeper water now. I'll probably start gearing up mid may.
