Anyone having trouble with this? I use 2 websites for work that all of a sudden stopped working yesterday and started doing some digging. I kept getting a "need to install Micro Silverlight" message but it's installed. Found this post:
What a load of horseshite. She did give a workaround which I tried and it works, but it will not once Chrome 45 comes out. WTF?
However, as a temporary workaround you can enable a flag. Here’s how:
Go to chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
Choose Enable.
At the bottom left of your screen, click Relaunch Now.

With the latest update to Chrome, certain types of plugins, known as NPAPI plugins, are longer be available. This may be why some of your plugins are no longer working. We suggest that you contact the website owners and suggest they change to a more modern, secure technology. Please visit our blog posts for more information:

NPAPI's are old 90's technology - it stands for Netscape Plugin Application Program Interface. The problem is that it runs with full access to your machine *and* exposes itself to the internet, which makes it a big security risk. Chrome tries to restrict access to your machine that outside processes might try to invoke and NPAPI's circumvent that.
The main reason they waited this long is to allow some major vendors (like Microsoft's Silverlight) to stop using NPAPI's or at least get closer to that point of not using them. But they're doing the right thing here.

Yep, Citrix via Chrome is a bit wonky now, as is attaching files with the Outlook web app.
