From what I've read, the changes were approved back in September 2013 and are effective beginning with the 2015-2016 Europa League. So this is the first season that then change is in effect. So if Arsenal take the FA, teams 5-7 in the BPL will qualify for Europa.
Sucks for Villa if they lose the final, but at least the Prem can send a 7th place club with an adequately sized squad like Tottenham/Southampton/Liverpool to fill that final spot in Europe.
Would be cool for a club like Villa to win the FA and make it to group stages though.

Because that would mean Arsenal did not win, which impacts my happiness levels.

As an Arsenal fan I think I might have rather got Liverpool, I know the team would be more pumped to play them. We really need to play Ospina for our keeper in the final.

FYI, NYCFC and Portland is on FS2 and MLS Live (MLS removed the blackout for this game)

Lots of quality missing between the two. Been a rough half. I cant even tell what portland is trying to do. Revs/philly was a solid game though.
Like shelton. He could be a good one.

Is the field at Yankee stadium very narrow?
Posted on 4/19/15 at 7:38 pm to EastNastySwag
wow
its 68 x 106
FIFA and MLS standards mandate a minimum width of 70 yards and a minimum length of 110 yards for the field. Both the Yanks and NYCFC have been saying all along the field meets those standards. Coach Jason Kreis has told reporters several times that this is not something he wishes to discuss, and that it is not a factor in these games.
Nobody from the media has been permitted on the field to measure the dimensions. The width was cut short so that the Yankees’ grounds crew wouldn’t have to tear down and rebuild the pitcher’s mound between games

They probably have a waiver from FIFA in a secret drawer somewhere.

Its such a shite situation, and the angle they get for TV is so flat its difficult to watch the far side of the field.
