Your best restaurants, hotels and hiking experiences there? Going in early June for a few days.

Been too long for me to give you specific recommendations, but most underrated "cool city" in the country, IMO.

Hit up Taos while you're there... and the Taos Pueblo
Oh yeah, don't let anyone talk you into joining a cult...

Bandelier National Monument is cool. They let you climb up into the cave dwellings. Definitely check it out. On the way their or back you can also stop off in Los Alamos and see where the atomic bomb was developed. Pretty interesting.
There were a bunch of good trails in the Santa Fe National Forest.. Just drive up the Ski Santa Fe mountain and you'll see the trail markers.
Make sure to check out the square downtown, the Loretto chapel and the Basilica.

I second the Taos recommendation. Odd factoid: There's a little colony of Monroe rich folk who've migrated to Taos.

Thirded Taos. Santa Fe was wonderful. Reminded me of a much cleaner New Orleans.
