is there an uglier monstrosity of an insect than the potato bug?

I was cleaning out my garage cabinets and one of these frickers was sitting on the inside ceilings of one of the cupboards. I didn't see it, and the damn thing bit me on the wrist as I was moving a box. Hurt like hell. God damn.
