I think we need a Pelican centric title.

I'm still pissed about the taxes I paid earlier this week. Frick Taxes (again).

Must have beer this afternoon to alleviate my angst. May go to Cascade and possibly Apex Bar. Cascade is hosting the last day of their Sour and Wild Invitation, and although there is probably no chance of any of the super rare beers left, it should still be really good. Apex had 22 breweries brew an IPA using a combination of 6 different experimental hops, so they have about 30 different IPAs on tap. That might be interesting...

1 d d in Athens / a bloody to take the edge off

Tigers playing a double header due to the rain last night. Two games for $8 bucks.

Gonna try and hit Creature Comforts Brewery first so may miss first few innings of game 1.

2BD: Cycler's 55-11

I liked this better when I had it on draft. Still, though, nice change of pace from my normal hoppy beer trend.

2BD is a Founders Centennial IPA. I count this among the best IPAs that are regularly on the shelves in BR, but we rarely see it fresh. This batch was bottled 3/04 and is really good. Great floral hop nose and a great hop bite on the finish.
