For arguments sake, lets assume it is a feral cat. Does someone bragging on social media about their "1st bow kill" sound like someone who is humanely attempting to depopulate feral cats?

It looks like it's her neighbors cat and even if it's feral she might be facing charges. From a Texas attorney's fb page(note- I have no idea if this is correct):
quote:

Legally speaking, Dr. Lindsey may be facing a State Jail Felony for this heinous crime. The Texas Legislature fixed a loophole in the law a while back. It is a crime to kill a non-livestock animal without the owner's consent. However, this was a feral cat. To lend protection to ferals, the Legislature includes feral dogs and cats in the definition of "animal" now.

except it wasnt a feral cat, it was her neighbors pet.

this story is an excellent example of why people should take 2 little minutes out of their day to read the full article before posting.

The vet is likely weeping right now.

Or you could just admit you were wrong instead of doubling down on the idiocy and trying to act all e-tough.

But hey, if it's no great shakes can I come over to your place and shoot your pets so I can tell you they're just fricking animals, stop crying?

This is what I don't get.

You want to own cats then fine own cats but keep then on your own Damn property.

Why do you think your pet should be allowed to roam around on other people's property?

Just saying.

If you let your pets run wild don't complain when they are treated as a nuisance animal.
