Do any supermarket people or IT people know what happened?

Edit...OK, I hit the submit button. Give me 3 minutes before you go with the jokes and I'll edit again.
At Albertson's this morning there were about 10 people waiting at checkouts and another 15 shopping when the computers stopped working.
The first message was 'the computers are being checked and we'll just be a minute'.
Ten minutes later 'We're sorry. The computers are being checked and we'll just be a minute."
Ten minutes after that (20 in all) and now everybody is waiting in line with full baskets. "We don't know when the computers will work."
Everyone walked out just leaving their baskets to be re-shelved.

Short marriage. As much as I like Zach, I eat a lot of cheese, don't say "tookies" and I'm not going to work full time while the husband stays home and cooks Monjuni pasta (sauce is too sweet for me) and buys fried catfish for me to eat from Brookshire's or Wally World. I also use salt.

Had to do a cold boot to restart system and reload files from last backup.
Usually happens when IT-Charlie wants to have some fun harassing the morning customers.
