George had the best 2-3 songs; Paul had the better catalog.

Paul.

"Meaningful" is a meaningless word in this context

Paul had the most commercially successful career

But John had the greatest album:

IMHO it's as good as anything The Beatles ever did

Meh. Everybody likes something different. Ringo was not "untalented" - just least talented of this group. However, he was the most likeable and the Beatle most people would root for.

Song-for-song, George has the strongest catalog.

John clearly had the most to say, from a lyrical content standpoint.

Paul was, by several orders of magnitude, more prolific and was, by far, the most talented musician of the four. Paul also had a better ear for what the broad listening public wanted to hear.

I was raised by an Elvis man who didn't really care for the Beatles - I didn't begin to appreciate them until I was in my late teens. But when you think back and realize that everything that was "Beatles" happened over a very short 6 to 6 1/2 years, it becomes all the more amazing over time.

And they were better, together, than any were individually. That's hard to even accept arguments to the contrary.

George

All Things Must Pass would be a top 3 Beatles album. It's an incredible masterpiece. Most of his other solo albums are really good as well, especially Living in the Material World and Cloud Nine.

George

All Thing Must Pass is probably the best post-Beatles album by any Beatle.

I am biased toward George but they all were great in their own right.

I'm a Paul guy (Beatles-wise) but It's George by far.

Post-Beatles the reins were off of him...Lennon's was good but George was exceptional

John has that mystique, plus he died before his time and was probably the coolest one to have a conversation with.

I think he still had more great songs in him, but..we'll never know.

I read a short story once about the Beatles-it had been written after the breakup, but while were all still alive. The plot is the Beatles being kidnapped, one by one. Worldwide headline news, of course. Nobody can figure out the mystery. It ends with the whole thing being masterminded by Ringo to get them all back together for a reunion.
