On Wednesday the Harris County Sports and Convention Corp. announced it will be offering more Astrodome seats up for sale online to the delight of fans who attended last week’s birthday party for the stadium.

On Monday, April 20 at 10 a.m. buyers can go to the NRG Park website to purchase up to two pairs of seats that used to be bolted inside the Astrodome. This is an online sale only.

While supplies last, buyers have the choice of four different styles of seats, silver, red, orange, and bleacher seats.

There was no immediate information on exactly how many pairs of seats will be sold.

Cost is set at $200 per pair.

Those that purchase seats will be able to come up to NRG Park June 11 through June 13 to pick up their seats in person.

Two previous sales, one in person at NRG Center and online sale, both did very well. Attendees to the Astrodome’s birthday party saw up close just how many extra seats were left on the stadium’s floor. This led to speculation of a new sale. Those that missed out on seats the last two times now have a chance to complete their Astrodome memorabilia collections.

Are there any left after this round of sales? Would be a great investment for an office.

Not sure. This is the second round of sales I believe. They made it sound like they were trying to get rid of what was left from the first round so they can move forward with whatever they plan to do with the dome.
