I've been getting emails and Skypes about posters being rude to new fans they are calling "bandwagoners."
Come on mon. Let's celebrate this glorious time and welcome all. Just got my airfare to San Francisco for Game 1. Stoked!

We wagoneers can be easily converted. I paid very little attention to the Pelicans before now. Several months ago I stumbled across this board and saw that tickets could be had very cheaply, so we went to a game in December just to have something to do. The Pels were in "win one, lose one" mode. Then my's kid's trainer came into town, and since he's from AD country we took him to a game and got club seats. Much more fun than the cheap seats. Then we hit a third game with some other friends. Then my kid bought the xbox NBA game and started playing as the Pels. Then I took him to see the Golden State game as we got hooked on the playoff race (after having given up with the losing streak). Last night at the game we bought a pair of season tickets for next year in the lower bowl. Don't discount us bandwagon fans - some of us can surprise you in the long run.
