Buddy of mine was walking along the pond next to number 13 green at Oakwing back in Oct/Nov., and nearly stepped on a 4 foot cottonmouth. Shook him up.

That's the only place close to ellic that I regularly see them. Watched a large one get kilt on the path between 14 green and 15 tee.

learned a long time ago to never...ever...walk into legless creature country around a golf course without a wedge in your hand...on desert courses where there are rattle snake signs...you drop and move on...

I'm like electricity, I take the path of least resistance in IDing snakes. Just learn how to identify the four poisonous species in America.
