Thanks in advance for any replies.

This weekend I was given a pair of what turn out to be pre-1978 Nocona Sea Turtle Boots. Verification done by Justin Boots who now own Nocona. I was informed it is illegal to sell them in certain situations but I wouldn't ever give them up.

They're pristine... Soft, no cracking, color is an incredible rich brown.

For anyone who has exotic skinned boots, what is your go to conditioner and technique?

Again, thanks.

I think Jab has a pair of these, he wears them all the time if my memory serves. They must hold up pretty well...

If someone will tell me how to host a pic or two I'll share. I've never gotten the hang of how to post my own pics.

The somewhat darker streak in the middle isn't actual... I assume it's lighting. The entire boot color is best described as what you see on the toe.

I use bickmore products on my ostrich and caiman. They just came out with a dedicated cleaner/conditioner for reptile skins.

Wow those are beautiful. I have seen dead turtles in the gulf because of red tide. I wonder if you would be allowed to take one?

Nope, can't touch them.

I had one dead on the beach on Grand Terre a few years after the spill. That SOB was like 4 ft diameter and the sharks had been chomping on his limbs. He had silver dollar size barnacles on his shell.
