Mine was probably solving a partial diff eq of mixed open channel flow.

Damn power series solutions to solve the boundary conditions

Trying to figure out why your mom keeps calling. Tell her to quit. It's annoying and creepy.

I had to figure the trans double volumetric intracapacity RMS of the flux capacitor.

That other thread damaged your ego pretty bad I guess.

Probably a fluids equation. I hate diff eq. That stacked on top of the experimental variables required to solve equation involving boundary and turbulent flow (I hate any equation that requires experimental variables as I cannot see where they came from and why they are what they are. You can only fit an equation to the results). Fluids taught me how to solve the problems they taught in the class. I am still not well versed on the subject.

I just loved the pressure/flow on the bottom of the dam in fluids.......

It's pretty cool when you see it in action- i.e. Old River/Morganza.

I busted my arse to learn all of that shite in school and honestly, I haven't used a single bit of it since I graduated...

Definitely. And with every promotion I get, the less and less I actually have to do. I don't even use a calculator anymore. I just use the simple calculator on my laptop. Pretty soon my job will be sending emails and writing memos. 4 years of engineering classes completely unused.

why even use a calculator when you can do everything in excel?

I am taking the PE this Friday. I was doing some last minute studying. But these guys are supposedly licensed engineers and they don't think the answer to that problem is 288. So I just put my books down. I'm done. If they can pass that exam, I can pass.

Probably some problem in the second mechanics or quantum...actually those Kittel problems in condensed matter were mind fricks too. Reciprocal space wasn't my friend.

That class was absurd.
