People react to different SSRIs.. differently.

It may work for you. It may do nothing. Psychotherapy is a inexact medicine right now.

If it works, it will dull everything. Your lows won't be so low but your highs may not be so high either.

Took it for a year. Took care of the depression, but also apathetic to anything and everything. Benzos are a better class of drug in my experience.

And to answer your question: It works for me, but may not work for you. I tried Lexapro first, didn't like the side effects, went to Zoloft and it's been fine.
