New Recliner: Restoration Hardware vs Pottery Barn

I'm looking at getting a recliner for my new "man cave" and I have it narrowed down to these two:
Pottery Barn
and
Restoration Hardware in Vintage Oxblood
They both look very similar (might be from the same supplier), so I am really torn which one to choose.
Does anybody have any experience for "cushioned furniture" from Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware? How is the quality and durability?
The Restoration Hardware chair has down filled cushion, and the Pottery Barn chair has a "down blend wrapped" cushioned. Which will hold up better?

Both are extremely overpriced

Yeah, if you buy either of those for a "man" cave, you are a fricking idiot.
I hope you are trolling.

I got this one used for $200:
Classy enough for a recliner.

I'm not crazy about the RH one. The down cushion gets flat and worn out fast. Also don't like how it looks distressed. I have a couple pottery barn down blend couches and they keep their form and are very comfortable. Also PB does 20% off a single item like once a month so I would wait for that. Sign up on their website.

But seriously who gives a shite about telling you what recliner to pick? Your wife pick those stores?
All im saying is lazy boy has some of the most comfortable recliners and best quality. although i didnt get one because of our budget, it was the best i looked at imo

Look into braddington young, flex steel, leather craft. Forget that pottery barn shite.

$2K isn't bad for a leather recliner (check out Haverty's) and with furniture I've found "you get what you pay for."
A worn out 15 year old Lazy Boy with built in cup holders might be acceptable for your man cave, but not mine.

Out of those two, pottery barn. Try Ballard designs.

we have a recliner from RH and it feels sturdy as hell. So comfortable once bbroken in. Pottery Barn not so much in my experience.

Is it down filled? How long have you had it?

Our son's nursery furniture is from RH and it seems built to last forever. That said, without even clicking the link, I guarantee it is the most expensive option.
If we don't get use out of it through our last child graduating high school, I'll be disappointed.

No. Their down fill doesn't maintain any structure. I like their poly fill.
Have had chairs and couch for about 7 months, it is just getting nice and broken in.

You have very poor taste. I bet you also have tons of fleur de lis an roosters in your decor. Throw in a spoon collection for good measure.

Meh, it looks very "modern". Not everyone likes that style That doesn't mean they have "poor taste".
But alas, usually those that are into modern are pompous dicks.

I'd go restoration. And the premium you pay is worth it. You get what you pay for when it comes to quality furniture.
