I agree and I think its pretty refreshing to read this instead of some filtered bs their agent told them to say.
I love the honesty as well, even if it's pretty dumb to say about current teammates, but he absolutely threw a few guys under the bus there, no question.

I don't feel like he's throwing anyone under the bus.

They may be truthful, but Pierce comes off as a person that can identify everybody else's flaws, but lacks self-insight into his own. He also seems like a person that can criticize but doesn't like any criticism in return.

Well Paul Pierce's former team just clinched a playoff berth.

I met him twice on a trip to Vegas 5 or 6 years ago and he was a fricking a-hole both times.

Bingo, he comes off looking bad on this one.

Am I the only one who didn't realize Paul Pierce had a back tattoo saying "Chosen One"?

No wonder the dude always hated LeBron

Yeah when Bama hired Avery Johnson I went back and watched a bunch of videos about his firing from the Nets.

A lot of it was hilarious to see in retrospect. Deron Williams basically got him fired.

who got him fired with the Mavs?

I'm fine with pretty much everything he said. Nets talk was pretty revealing, but not surprising.

I don't know what he's so surprised about though with player motivation. It's nothing about new generation or old school or any of that crap. There were talented players in the 80s and 90s who didn't put in the work to be great. That's not something that just started.

Greatness is rare for a reason. You shouldn't have to go around convincing someone to be great. You either have that in you or you don't.

"It's not a bad thing with Ray. We had a great relationship on the court. But even the year we won it, after a game we'd say, 'Let's go have something to eat and have a night with the older guys.' We'd get there and it would be me, Kevin and Sam (Cassell), but no Ray. In a lot of ways, me, Sam and Kevin were our Big Three.

I'm not sure why, but I found this funny.
