I'm having a squeaking issue that is driving me berserk.

That's why you were suppose to get the Teflon spacer and not the powder coated metal one.

Make sure the top nut holding your struts in place are tight. Had the same issue on mine, and that's what it ended up being.

I wrote ChryslerDodgeFiatRam a lengthy email about why selling to people like you is bad for future sales.

Yep - I put bilsteins on the front - no squeaking.

Are you a douche in real life, or just on the Internet

Because what do engineers know anyway?

I don't think you belong on this board.

Because I don't make pointless modifications to my truck?

That said, I just saw the 4th Gen part. In fairness to the OP, the engineers didn't exactly set the bar very high.

I launched a mud boat at Lake Mary this weekend. It was seriously flooded and I guarantee you I couldn't have gotten where I was without having 4x4, leveling kit, and bigger tires. Water was to the bottom of my door and over my exhaust pipe.

4x4 and bigger tires? Okay

Leveling kit? Negative. Are you talking about a lift?

Couldnt get the ground clearance I have without the level.

A lift gives more clearance than a level.

I'm not lifting my truck. Just wanted to fit 35s without rubbing

ETA: truck is ford not ram

The only thing that gives more ground clearance is bigger tires.

And significantly bigger tires require a lift.

Significantly bigger to me and you may differ. I increased my tire size 10% the aspect ratio on the same width as factory which isn't major to me, but was not possible without a lift or level of some sort (also happens to be the stock tire size of F-250) An inch to an 1-1/2" of ground clearance, (2-3" larger diameter than factory 32's on trucks like pogey's and mine) can easily be accomplished with a leveling kit. A whole lot more goes into whether it will rub like wheel offset, tire width and what not than just tire diameter.

To prevent the expensive mud tires from rubbing the inner fender wall without installing a suspension lift isn't pointless to me.
