Don't forget the PI flag that came with that hit, I know that particular hit didn't deserve to be called so that may be a bad example, but the only time I recall Bush standing out in 2013 was delivering a big hit but nearly every time getting the PI call which ended up hurting the team more or just as much as if the pass would have been completed......That said he is a decent player, average which is fine, but nothing more, so in my opinion I also think the ideal thing would be to trade him for maybe a 3rd rd pick and be able to draft another OL, WR, or TE or maybe even ILB/OLB if they weren't addressed yet at that point

Now back on topic, I still think Jennings has plenty of juice left...He's not going to take the top of the defense, but after managing 68rec/804yds/11.8avg/4TD's in 2013 run first offense with terrible QB play and 59rec/742yds/12.6avg/6TD's in a passing offense that was so bad it had upgrade midway to a rookie it's not crazy to think he couldn't have 65+rec for 750-1,000 yards in our offense

He had 1 penalty against him in 2013 (the Seattle one), and it wasn't Pass Interference

the more I've thought on Jennings the more I hope it works out. The numbers hafta be right with our cap. He might have more left than I realized. He went to Minny for the bucks. What an atrocious situation though...

By his sixth game in Minnesota, he'd played a game with as many starting QBs (three) as he'd had in seven seasons in Green Bay. He only caught a touchdown pass from one of them (Matt Cassel) in his first season with the Vikings. And in his second, Jennings had played with three different starters by Week 5, as he worked to shift from a career in the West Coast offense to an Air Coryell-based attack.

he put up decent numbers despite the terrible situation he was in, much better than the majority of the receivers that we have had over the years put up, outside of colston.

Yeah, I don't see what there is to dislike about signing him. I'm not saying people should run out and buy his jersey, but he can still contribute to this team, and if signed, it will be at a pretty cheap rate.

Would help us tremendously at WR. Colston/Cooks/Jennings

Let Toon battle it out against Coleman/Jones and draft a WR in the 3rd that way we can focus on defense early in the draft.

That was a very quiet visit. I think he will settle for something similar to what Crabtree got, just a guess.

If so, hopefully we pass. Too much for him at this stage of his career.

I agree with every part of this.

I'd like to see them sign him, but in my mind he's more likely wind up a Champ Bailey than anything else.

Couldn't disagree more with the Champ Bailey comment. Jennings could be good in our offense and it would be a cheap bandaid for a couple of years while we concentrate on getting the defense better.
