BlackBerry makes amazing phones. They just lack apps.

Shitty hardware? I owned a Z10 when it came out and it was a better phone than the Galaxy S5 I have right now. It had a shitty camera, but it was a much better phone.

Aren't there a lot of shitty android devices out there? Not everything is a flagship phone.

You're overlooking the fact that there are not only cheap android phones. There's an actual reason to develop for them.

So a cheap Blackberry that runs Android apps can't serve the same purpose as a cheap Android?

Yes. The BlackBerry Leap runs Android apps. For some time now, the BlackBerry 10 OS has had the ability to install and run .apk files (Android apps). This is what enables you to run the Amazon Appstore and the many official apps you find there. It also means that you have the ability to install and run .apk files from other sources should you choose to do so.

If I needed a new phone or had a work phone and a personal phone, I'd consider it.

Fair enough. I honestly don't know what appz blackberry has, but I could go without most of mine honestly.

Facebook, Twitter, Charles Schwab are the ones I couldn't do without. Otherwise, I could likely deal.

that's actually pretty cool - if my work decided they wanted to get me a work phone, I might ask for this guy now.

Facebook and Twitter are native apps on BlackBerry and you can create and respond to messages without having to open the app by using the Hub. Charles Schwab would have to be an Android app.

Yeah, I've said it before that my only issue is the apps I need are very local and not big-time apps.

If I can download Fastcase, Casemaker, and a few others, I WILL go back to BlackBerry.

I want the Classic SSSSSSOOOOOOOOO bad.
