Most improved NBA team this season? MVP candidate related.

when thinking about the MVP race, shouldn't this question be weighted the heaviest?
Yes, Harden, Curry, and Westbrook are having great seasons with a lot of points but:
1. Harden is a ball hog with a low shooting percentage; and the rockets will probably be out in the first round again
2. The Thunder are about to be eliminated from the playoffs
3. The Warriors havent improved much.
The only two teams left that have had the biggest improvement with a standout player are:
The Cavaliers and Pelicans
The real MVP race should be between LeBron James and Anthony Davis

Did you know that since Feb. 1, the Celtics have a 68% winning rate and are tied for 3rd most wins (with 22) duirng that time period. The teams tied with them are the Cavaliers and Rockets and the only teams with more wins are the Warriors and Spurs.
The Celtics might surprise a few people in the playoffs, at least by not just rolling over for the Cavs in the first round.
