If we get Newman with what we already have we will be a run and gun team. With a team like this I would play full court, and 3/4 court defense all game With the depth we will have.

There was already a slim chance we would sign Newman before we got Sampson, but now that he's on board I will say there's a -%50 chance we get him. Too many guards and not enough minutes or shots to go around. Plus after seeing Newman in both all star games, he isn't a point guard. We have one scholarship remaining to give out and I hope it goes to Kasongo, we need a big much more than we need another guard.

Well with the Friday announcement news developing this morning, that puts what Gumbo said halfway correct about him announcing "next week". The other part of the equation would of course be him actually picking LSU. Let's see.....

I'll buy that. You've offered as much insight and source material as the rest of these jacktards. I just hope he doesn't wear the purple and gold to the press conference, and then take it off to reveal the maroon. (Actually, I'd prefer he went to MOO U over Kentucky....but boy he'd be great over here.)
