Is this a serious question? I think the whole world knows how complex LSU's offense is

Pick a game next year. I'll give you 10 to 1 odds that you can't guess the plays LSU will run. And I'll make it very easy for you. All you have to do is guess run right, run left, or run between the guards, and for pass, just guess under 6 yards, 6 to 13 yards, or over 13 yards. A sack or QB run is a win for you if you guessed pass. If you pick the correct one 40% of the time, for a complete game, you win. Dumb shite.

People that actually do this for a living can and do figure this out. Just because joe schmo on TD can't doesn't validate your point one bit

Sumlin was the only SEC coach this decade that hasn't cracked Chavis Scheme. It's pretty simple, RUN IT UP THE GUT. Every SEC OC is licking their chops to see the Mustang run without talent....

Teams knew what LSU is going to do on offense and Miles did exactly that starting with Jan 2012, that is the most frustrating aspect of Miles offense.

that toss dive you are dissing was damn effective last year. bama runs it too.

the key, if you will, is mixing up plays where the D doesn't always expect it and load up the box.

Chief trying to run his defensive scheme without the proper personnel and with a head coach and supporting offense that don't understand the meaning of the words "time of possession"... It's not going to be pretty. I'm not saying Chavis won't improve A&M's defense in the long run, but this year their D will be the same or worse than last year.

Just messing around, I don't care how the ball is delivered to the RB,

I do care that we don't are or not capable of using large portions of the field. Either by design or abilities. We were young last year, but we should see a more diverse set of play calls this year, time will tell.

If you are entirely pleased with our offense, congrats

Agree Tigerfoot, and I don't see it as an advantage either way with LSU knowing Chavis and Chavis knowing LSU.

LOL, I'm sure chief knows all of the five plays that we run on offense

But can he stop them? Probably not. He'll stack the box and one of the WR will beat him 2 or 3 times then he will play a7 man box and try to cover and get run over.

Will the SEC sanction Sumlin for contacting Chavis without permission. Talking to him just before bowl game is against the rules. Both NCAA and SEC.

Cheif will be an immediate upgrade for the aggie defense. Not top 5 in the SEC at first but maybe eventually.

Cheif's incredible success at lsu was a perfect marriage of power running ball control offense (usually causing the opponents to play conservative as well) and talent on defense.

I don't think it is completely coincidence the 2013 offensive performance led to Chavis's worst defensive performance.

I just don't think with your offense and ability to score that you will ever have the top D in the league ("statistically"). Which is fine bc you don't need to.

He will have the advantage for 59 minutes. And then we'll drive 80-yards in the final 50+ seconds and win.

Yeah but does he have a copy of the "secret" playbook.

We just have to hold on until the end of the game and we can score on Chavis' prevent defense. We had great recruiters to put that defense together for him. Can Sumlin recruit defense? We shall see. We know Chavis won't recruit.
