I'll be there with a group of 8. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

If we weren't already going to Chicago this weekend we'd be there. I absolutely love Athens. Didn't realize we were playing there until I had already booked our trip.

I live in Athens. Planning to attend all 3 games as long as the weather cooperates! Let me know if anyone needs food/drink recommendations.

What bars do you recommend for 4 guys in their mid-late 20's? Been to Gen Beauregard and Bar South on football trips and really like those. Also wouldn't mind a few lunch/ dinner recs too

So several places with both good food/drink downtown: Trappeze (tons of great beers) and Highwire, The Globe. World Famous is awesome for lunch or dinner (recommend the chicken and waffle club). Ted's Most Best for pizza, Little Italy for late night pizza. Taco stand on Broad is good and cheap.
Additional dinner places: Branded Butcher is awesome (also nice for brunch)! Shokitini for sushi, Last Resort, Depalmas. 5 bar is popular. South Kitchen. The National is really good but a little pricey. The rooftop bar at the Georgia Theatre is a cool place to go. They also serve some tasty food.

Near campus and the 5 points area: Cali n Titos (BYOB/cash/check only), Royal Peasant, The Pine.

If you venture a little off of downtown, down Prince Avenue: Taqueria del sol, Viva, Seabear.

If you liked the bars you mentioned, then you might like Allgood, Pauley's (crepe place but has lots of beers, food just okay). Blue sky/Walker's, Cutter's. Some posters in their 20's should also be able to give you some good bar recs.

There are tons of great places in Athens, hope ya'll have fun! Nona has a fun bar and is New Orleans themed, but don't eat the food, it's not even close to what we have in Louisiana!

Well, I don't live that close to BR, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see the team in person (same will apply with the USCe series). Whoever's willing and able can take BPB this weekend, whether that's Rabbit or someone else.

Will make a few of the games if the weather holds out. As someone said right now the forecast is not looking too good. But hopefully that will change as the week progresses.
