For his ultimatum to the then Duke Lacrosse coach Pressler for the false rape situation in the mid '90s. Quit or be fired.
No reference of Alleva's present employer.

Alleva has no backbone. Ruined a good persons life because of pressure. He is a joke!

But yes, the handling of that situation is by far the biggest black mark of Alleva's record. Throwing a bunch of innocent people under the bus. Absolutely unforgiveable.

When they hired Alleva all I could think was they should have hired someone with balls.

with today's media, Alleva would have been vilified for not taking action immediately. He was in a no win situation, take action until truth comes out or do not take action and get hammered.
Bottom line - the culture of the Duke lacrosse team was a problem because they put themselves in that position to begin with.
