Psychologically, this is the norm. And has been for a long, long time.
The more people there, the less one person feels it is their responsibility to do something.

we did some wild shite on the panhandle back in the day but it was fun, and voluntary, for the most part, some of us would think we were bad for filling up your cooler from an ice machine at hotel that we weren't staying at, I guess the reason most of us kept under control was that we were funding these outings, and would also have to face the consequences for fricking up
