In Baton Rouge. No kids and no plans to have them, what are some good neighborhoods to look at in the 200-250k range?

There's a lot of info in that Coursey blvd. thread from a few days ago.

Capital Heights
Spring Lake/Fair Hill
Garden District if you can find one in your price range.

Prices have gone retarded in all of the good neighborhoods.

Good neighborhoods in that range do not exist in BR anymore, unless you want to move into older neighborhoods that are becoming less desirable to live in.

Your wife must be banging Jody. Don't buy a house because she's going to turned up knocked up and it won't be yours. Congrats on the no sex.

Any specific area you interested in?

Which is more important: neighborhood, location, or house?
What kind of house do you like?

There is a lot to consider. Simply giving a price range isn't enough.

Too bad. This place is available and would be perfect for a big family.
