My kids saw the pregnant mom giraffe a couple of weeks ago. Pretty cool story.

DALLAS — Katie the giraffe gave birth Friday at the Dallas Zoo and the baby appears to be doing well.
Animal Planet and the Dallas Zoo are providing live coverage of Katie as she bonds with her newborn calf at the facility's Giants of the Savanna habitat. The sex of the baby, Katie's second calf, is unknown.
Zoo officials said the calf is "strong."

I saw part of this on tv. Saw part of the birth (baby's head and front legs sticking out).
Was cool watching calf stand up for first time.
