Really fun weekend. Just now climbing into bed. poor Bapple didn't see a live hog but he did get some exciting hunts with pigs squealing and cutting g up just out of sight. They are leaving with 2 ice chests full of pork. We boil crawfish this evening and had a good time hanging out and drinking beer after they were done hunting.
It is always a pleasure hosting fellow OB regulars. Although many times I am meeting them for the first time, the common enjoyment of the outdoors, always seems to bridge any gaps.

BP,
Maybe one day I might make a trip up your way. Like the country you are hunting.
Looks like your boys are growing up like weeds. Before long, they going to be asking for the keys.

Hate to say it, but bapple's experience is the reason why I stopped still hunting for hogs, and started running dogs.
Lemme know if sometime you'd like to run some Texas Blue Lacy's and Dogo's at them. It is pretty chaotic, and fun all at the sometime.
My cousin is in East Tajas with the lacy dogs and some Dogos. If you can put up with a T-sip fan.
Plus I have a new Dogo pup I'd love to get some field training in on. At 8 weeks old he has already taken down my sister in law's potbelly board twice on accident. Heh heh heh. Shows good tenacity for a pup.

BP was a great host and the awkwardness of a first meeting lasted maybe 10 seconds. It's crazy how the outdoors can bring just about anyone together. Sucks that I didn't snag a pig but I doubt this was my last trip!
But unfortunately for all of you, no pig = no outline/video. I hope yall can survive with that.

The last stand was the one that produced last night.
That's the same stand I shot mine in, right? Looks the same but hard to tell with the spring greenup.
