Why is he there, where are you, and is he playing a show around here again soon? I regretted missing them at the Varsity last time they were in town.

Last time they went to Baton Rouge it was one for the record books. Everyone waiting in anticipation for the announcement. Constantly refreshing the page to see if any updates had been leaked. Inside sources released several clever hints that still stumped the mass of fans. Rumors were swirling about who the booking could possibly be. Tool, Deftones, Drowning Pool, Twiddle, Mutemath, KISS, etc. Really any one of those would have created a tidal wave of excitement throughout south Louisiana, hell probably the entire southeast. Finally, the day came and the godfather of the Baton Rouge music scene released to the masses who was going to be playing in such a legendary venue. Chicken had to shutdown TDMB for a day to prevent the servers crashing from all of the web traffic. After what felt like years of waiting, the day of the show finally came and we camped outside for 2 days to ensure we could get front row (in front of Paul obviously). Right as they came out I ended up blacking out from all of the excitement. Next thing I knew I was laying on the ground in my own vomit and a full load blown in my cargos.

One of the best things to happen to Baton Rouge.

One of my absolute favorite live festival acts. Their drummer is awesome.

Their recorded work I don't really care for, but I will never pass up an opportunity to see them live.

Yep, they put on a hell of a show. I was given a ticket to go see them after not really paying much attention to them, but they were absolutely fantastic at the Varsity.

MuteMath is using some of our gear. I work for a Music Instrument MFR.

He said they are working on a new album, but didn't mention any local BR shows.

Odd Soul is one of my favorite albums. So fantastic. It's New Orleans crammed into 45 minutes.

And yes their live show is one of the best I've seen.
