I had to take an IQ test once, I passed. It wasn't very difficult, and I was actually already hired before I took it, most everyone else had to take it before they were hired, and a ton of people failed it apparently.

You need to watch the movie, The Parallax View, as it has a personality test as part of the recruitment process.

Always answer these questions honestly. If you try to give the answers you think they want, you'll get two results:

A. You'll end up getting half of them wrong and not get the job.

B. Your personality is a really bad fit for the job. You might get it, but you'll be miserable.

TLDR Anecdote:

I applied for/was nominated for the Presidential Management Fellows thing with FedGov. It seemed really interesting and probably would have been great career-wise.

I went through the first assessment (answered honestly) and initial screening interview and "passed". I got to the second assessment (took about two hours). I could tell that a lot of the questions were "chain of command" related. I've never been good at following strict chain of command - most of the time, I'll just seek out the actual decision maker (or make the decision myself) and then move on. I decided to just answer honestly. I didn't get selected for the next round.

I would have been miserable, having to go through eight levels of red tape to order a hard drive or something. And I would have dragged my family across the country just to be miserable.

Coincidentally - shortly after that, I found a company that GREATLY encourages self-management and I'm fairly autonomous in my job. I love it.

OP, do yourself a favor and just answer honestly. Trying to game it, just to get the job is doing a disservice to you and the company.

It's not hard. You tell them what they want to hear.

Somehow my aunt and cousin failed this when they applied for jobs at Walmart

Well maybe your personality is not well-suited for the positions you have been applying. Even if you got the job, you may have not enjoy it if it doesn't fit your personality style. Or may be this is a good time to figure out where the discrepancy is and make some changes (e.g., become more assertive).

Are there any questions like, "Do you ever not pay people money that you owe?"
