This is random, but I have always been fascinated with people who had weird/unusual jobs.

Like:

Someone who draws courthouse scenes because some states do not allow photography.

The person who picks up a prisoner's last meal.

The armed guard that is in back of armored trucks with the job of shooting if the door opens and it is unauthorized.

The cleaning crew who cleans up a home after a grizzly murder.

Those are just some that I have thought about.

No, I meant that a lot of these prisoners want a bucket of KFC or something like that. Some employee has to go and pick it up and bring it to the prison, or it is delivered by someone.

An episode of Dave Attell's Insomniac dealt with that one. Guy had a business where he comes in and cleans crime scenes. This one was a motel room. Rip up the carpets, clean the blood underneath, etc.

I've heard these crews make good money.

I know someone who works for a company that does this. Pays very well it seems. I guess it would have to.

I'm fascinated with why your fascination is centered around horrific crimes.

Yeah....and.....? Are you wondering if they pick little pieces of fried skin or a little crispy piece of chicken off? Sure they do. They are human and we all do it. What's with the fascination?

You mean after someone is murdered by a grizzly bear? Seems those would be pretty rare.
Now a grisly murder, those are more common....

The "guy who picks up the food" would probably get bored on the 360 days a year when someone is not executed. It's just a random guard or guards and not a primary position.

Well the last meal and armed guard are both pretty much just security guards
As far as scene cleanup it just depends. Most of them obviously need to be in big cities or willing to travel a good ways to be in areas a lot of crime happens. Probably a lot of competition in big cities or they get on rotation from police to call them in. Not sure about court drawings, I guess a few random artists that apply and probably don't make much unless it's a nationally known court case.

Id be more interested in who the Staff Electric Chair Operator is than the guy who goes to the McDonald's drive through.
