LINK

We will see now if Malik Newman wants to be a Tiger or a Wildcat now that Kentucky will have room on their roster for a point guard.

If he goes to UK he won't be running point.

Think he doesn't go there IF Booker stays, that's the key now IMO.

They have 2 PGs in Briscoe and Ulis, he wont run the point there.

I can't see him staying but crazier things have happened.

It just all depends on how adamant he truly is at playing PG and being able to wade through the Calipari bullshite to realize he won't play it there

I would think he would want to showcase his skills at point a good bit based on what the NBA wants from him. Don't have my hopes up on this one though.

This was predicted to happen. Does anyone think either Harrison will be a first round draft pick?

Regarding Newman, this could tilt things toward Kentucky, and we should know before the end of this month.

Tyus is the PG at Duke. Ulis backed up one of the Harrison twins this year and will be back next year. Briscoe is a 5 star PG who Kentucky has signed already and will see the point before Newman because of his pass first and play making style. The key is if Booker stays because he's a SG which is where Newman fits better because he has a scorers mentality and that's where Coach Cal wants him. He wants to play point because that will be his spot in the NBA. He wants to showcase he has the ability to be a floor general and get points. The perfect spot is at LSU. He will rack up assists with Hornsby, Simmons, and Blakney no doubt. Throw in TQ with an improved shot, Patterson who was our best 3pt shooter next to Hornsby and 7'0 more athletic Elbert Robinson and 5 star transfer Craig Victor we are more set than people think .

Booker is looking like a lotto pick, but he was stuck behind one of the Harrisons. With a solid 30 min a game he knows he could've scored about 20 a game shooting about 48% and about 40% from 3. Throw that in with his hustle and defensive potential Booker is a top 8 lock and those extra spots up in the draft can make some great extra cash

Highly doubt that. Don't think either will go 1st round.
