Who remembers this restaurant? Fast food Italian concept. Not sure when they were open. Wanna say around 1998 or so...
You're right. About 1999-2002 was my experience there. A buddy was the manager and we enjoyed copious amounts of free food.
Good times!

Copious amounts of free food?
I'm sure he was fired, no?

He was there for a long time actually. Don't remember if he quit or was fired.

Krispy Kreme couldn't make it in that spot! That is telling.
Wasn't there. Krispy Kreme was the AT&T building.

Always thought Fazoli's had a good concept. Ate there a few times around the country. Was average. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Me too. Concept was original

I always liked it. They still have them in Alabama and Florida I think. I passed one not long ago but can't remember what city it was in.

Someone mentioned Pensacola earlier

I remember Fagoli's. Yeah, the first thing that comes to mind is the bread sticks. When they first opened they served it to you while you were waiting in line to place your order.
I liked the food, but then again I pretty much like any pasta dish.
I don't know what specifically caused the downfall, but serviced was suffering. Frankly, it was shite employees or shite management that allowed them to act like shite employees.
I had about enough after the last four times I went there and several employees were allowed to lie around in the booths and loudly shoot the shite with each other, like some kind of after school get together for dope heads, while guests were in the dinning room. The food also suffered and it wasn't the same as when they first opened. It really went downhill.
Seemed like management could only hire frick ups and flaming homosexuals. That's why it will forever be remembered by me as Fagoli's.

Used to eat there when I needed a quick Italian fix.
Think they closed sometime in 2003 or thereabouts.
