The "Now Open" signs are up. Should be a good addition to the neighborhood. I can't understand why it took so long for it to be ready.

How's the prepared foods at the one in Terrytown? It's not far from where I'm working but I've never noticed it before.

It's going to be a pretty big store, I think. The only other one I've been to is tiny and cramped, the one in Fat City.

I'm looking forward to trying some of the "exotic" prepared food.

Its all pretty damn good. Just have a look, point, and smile. The barbacoa is fantastic.

This is all from my experience at the one on Broad St. which is probably my favorite grocery store in the city. Not necessarily because of the food choices but just the general spirit of the place.

I better write this down.

Cool, I'll probably check them out today even though I had Johnny Sanchez last night. Which did not disappoint.

Bump for lunch.
Grabbed the mixed grill fajita. Came with beef and shrimp. The flavor was excellent and everything was perfectly cooked. Beans were boring but the fried rice (my choice) was very tasty.
Tortillas were worth ordering on their own. Perfect.

9.99 so a little high but nice choice for the area. Plus I picked up some dry chilis to make some seasonings. Few grocery items I looked over were cheaper than rouses.

Go check them out.

Just went in there during lunch time. Lot's of people checking out the place. Since it was busy, I didn't get to look at the cooked food very closely. Beautiful store. I bought some pickled onions and some fresh salsa which were both very good. There were still some areas that needed to be stocked, but just a couple.
