Anyone know where I can find a few quail to help get my pup started on some pointing exercises?

ETA: a rabbit would be great as well

I think he is on nights right now, probably sleeping. I know he just built a johnny house over the weekend and put some birds in it (Kinder)...

Not necessarily training him just yet, just want to introduce him to some live stuff.

Try Murray McMurray Hatchery, you'll have enough Bob White quail to train your pup in no time.

I bought 12 from the dry creek ranch near my parents house. They were a little pricey but only place I could find them. They are 5 dollars a bird, but they charged me for 10 and I got 14.

the guy told me he had plenty if I knew anyone else looking

Don't know the guys name, but a buddy of mine used to get a bunch from a guy in Breaux Bridge. Sometimes he would get chukar too.

ETA: You could always go capture some pigeons from around town with a net.

Just look around on craigslist. When my dog was too small for ducks, I would buy quail and pigeons off Craigslist almost weekly.
