I just called Tony's to test the water. Still 2.99/live. Wtf? I'm boiling a sack this afternoon. I'm gonna call around more.

Tony's will prob be an anomaly this week. I know they have a corporate function where they are doing approx. 20,000 lbs Thurs night. Could simply be supply for them this week.

exactly, crawfish are the trendy thing I know in DFW and everywhere you look people are paying $7-10/lb at restaurants

I mean, by the time ya set traps, run them, pay for gas, pay for beer, bring them home, buy everything else, buy more beer, etc., you could have just ordered pizza.

That is the correct fill-in for the past couple of days. Farmers claiming that the boats just won't stay in line with the traps. They have to reach an additional 12-18 inches to grab the trap. This costs money and must be passed on to the consumer.

I went with my neighbor Thursday and Fri. We Caught 2 sacks Thur
2 1/4 sacks Fri......Sat and Sunday he only caught 1 and yesterday he caught a half sack. Seems like tmut slacked off a little for some reason in his pond.
