Wish there was a quicker way to connect BR and Laffy when the basin bridge is out than going on 190. (Or whatever road takes you through all those small towns - been a while since i lived in LA)

All I have to say is that if you:
-knew it was a holiday weekend
-knew it was raining
-STILL willingly travelled I-10 Eastbound out of Lafayette expecting that the frickup fairy wasn't going to visit that stretch of road before you hit Baton Rouge
