Why do we attribute our actions to our DNA? Does DNA control our actions and should it be an explanation for our actions, wrong or right?

Genetics may modulate one's propensities for certain behaviors and thoughts, but rarely does that biochemical foundation render someone incapable of discerning between societally accepted definitions of "right" and "wrong" behaviors.

It dictates which actions we are more likely to take in given situations.

Our brains are a product of our DNA. Tendencies in our actions are a result of patterns of thought. Unconscious motivations.

Anyone who has children can attest to personality traits, independent humor, etc at age 1 or younger. Nurture plays a role, nature plays a much greater role.

There are no wrong behaviors in children, or adults for that matter. A child, or adult, cannot misbehave. They're simply a product of their DNA.
