Anybody get an explanation why a balk was called on Bugg in 11th inning? Was not listening to radio, Bama announcers just said he balked, & without benefit of replay or closeup don't know what was reason for the call!

I think someone said he started his windup and then stopped. I missed it when it happened.

That was my question, did he not come set for a second, drop the ball, stumble???

I missed it also, sometimes the picture freezes and you miss the play. As was the case with Jordan's catch. Lost picture for 10-15 seconds.

He stopped his pitching motion and the umpire, coaches, and bama nation went ballistic.

My thought, because Bama that's why.

Thanks! Nice to get a reasonable answer when you ask a question. Sometimes that's only wishful thinking on rant!

Although I somewhat agree... the coverage of baseball is 10,000 times better than just a few years ago, when I would have killed for just one camera

Were you at the game? Planned on going but things changed.
Many tiger fans in attendance?
We went to series in Houston an tiger fans out numbered Houston fans 3-1

Also the gumps behind me went on and on about how Chinea's 2 run HR was actually a Ground Rule Double. What is so hilarious is that they claim that we bitch about officiating too much, but then they turn around and do the same shite. A bit hypocritical. The umpires in both games were inconsistent.

Went to both and stayed last night til the end. Tiger fans did not out number the gumps but the numbers were impressive. I'll guess 60-40 gumps.

They would try to make noise but it was sad in comparison to our fans who had their shite together on the noise aspect.

They brough their band today. First time I have ever seen a band at a baseball game. lol I wish a foul would have hit a tuba.

Two yrs ago, Tiger Fans embarrassed A&M Fans in College Station. Was fun to be in that number!

They probably believe Peterson was out of bounds too.

While we're talking about Game 1, anyone want to explain what happened with Bama's DH? Wilhite was the DH for most of the game, then started pitching in the 14th. He was pulled in the top of the 16th, but came back in to bat in the bottom of the 16th. What happened there?

At that point in the evening I hadn't noticed much. but I do like his walk out song.

If he did, that seems a bit illegal.
